Here I am, modeling the cherry print skirt I started on last night. My mom's sewing machine gave me more trouble today than it ever has. Mental note: don't buy a Kenmore when you buy your own! My other concern when I move out is that I have enough space to continue to work on projects like this. I'm a little self-conscious, actually, at the thought of wearing one of my
handmade skirts out of the house, which is why this one will stay on me when I meet with Josh tonight. I don't have a problem carrying my handmade purses, though--I'm very proud of them and the way they stack up against those I see other women carrying. One of the next sewing projects I embark on for myself will be a camera case for my little Kodak EasyShare.

I've already collected all the ingredients. I have my notes from the last time I made it so it won't come out the same (wrong) way twice--progress is good! Mistakes are tasty, but I want it to look perfect. I want to be able to (at least in my head) waltz into Olive Garden with a piece of my Tiramisu on a plate and turn heads with it. Maybe while wearing handmade clothes. Hmmm....
