My New Hobby

I have rediscovered--or perhaps fully realized for the first time--that I love to bake. I reconnected with my kitchen muse for cooking these past few years, but now it's the season of the oven. I made three dozen delicious, delightfully orange Pumpkin Walnut Cookies (Recipe Here!!) Unfortunately, it calls for 2 cups of nuts and I only had 1/2 cup, but it worked because it let the pumpkin flavor come through. Next time I might add more spice because it was a tad weak for me. Nutmeg is the best fall flavor! My next baking projects will be more along the lines of my infamously tasty Feather Light Mocha Cake (with personal twists), or my new mission: to make the best Tiramisu EVER.
